Managers from across Motorpoint tackled the National Three Peaks Challenge and raised over £13,000 for the company's new charity partner, Scope

On the 18th of August, the group climbed over 3,000 metres across Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, raising a total of £13,722 in vital funds for our new charity partner, Scope.

The team that took on the iconic challenge included seven General Sales Managers alongside Operations Director Russell Louth and COO Kal Singh.

The 24-mile climb was the first major fundraising activity since the start of our partnership with disability equality charity Scope. As the leading retailer of nearly new and used cars, we're aiming to raise funds and awareness to support Scope's work to achieve a society where all disabled people enjoy equality and fairness.

The team raised £6,861, which we matched pound for pound, bringing the final donation total to nearly £14,000.

Communications and Engagement Partner at Motorpoint, Becky Greensmith, said of the fundraiser: "I’m incredibly proud of this team, and I know I speak on behalf of everyone at Motorpoint when I say what an achievement this has been. They’ve shown remarkable resilience and teamwork throughout the challenge and set a fantastic example for colleagues across the business. We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved.”

Discussing the new partnership with Motorpoint, Sammi Skelding, Scope’s Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Motorpoint who took on the Three Peaks Challenge this August. Through their incredible determination, the team raised an outstanding amount of money that will help fund Scope's vital services and make a real difference to disabled people and their families across the UK.

“Beyond the impressive fundraising achievement, the team's efforts have helped raise awareness of disability inclusion and the challenges disabled people face every day. We're proud to have Motorpoint alongside us as we work towards an equal future with disabled people. We're looking forward to seeing how Motorpoint continues to champion disability inclusion through our partnership and the impact we can create together.”
